For Caribou Coffee at City Centre Bahrain, Evoke Interiors explored a lighter, more vibrant design direction—intentionally pushing beyond the brand’s traditional visual language. The concept reimagines the Caribou experience through a more modern lens, combining warm materials with a refreshed palette and contemporary detailing to create an open, energetic café environment.

Sustainability played a key role in the design approach, with the incorporation of eco-conscious materials such as natural moss features and sand-textured wall finishes, aligned with Majid Al Futtaim’s green design requirements. These elements add both visual interest and environmental value while reinforcing a connection to nature.

A defining feature of the space is the integration of digital screens within the fireplace area, designed to evoke the feeling of overlooking an outdoor landscape through a window. Following a visit from the Caribou Coffee U.S. headquarters team and the then CEO, several of the design elements introduced in this project were recognized and later incorporated into the brand’s evolving global identity—positioning the City Centre Bahrain location as a progressive benchmark within the Caribou portfolio.
